2014 World Cup Knockout Round: Round of 16.

What a great way to kick off the Round of 16 games!!

With a 1-1 time in the final score between the two, it was off to penalty kicks.

Brazil had 5 shots, 4 on target and scored 3 goals.

Chile had 5 shots, 4 on target and only 2 goals.

Brazil win on penalties.

Lets look at some of the memorable moments in the game.

 

David Luiz scored the opening goal for Bazil!

Hulk scored a goal but was soon disallowed by referee Howard Webb as handball.

Alexis Sanchez scored a goal for Chile in the first-half!

Julio Cesar saved the second penalty kick for Brazil!

Junior World Championship Day 3.

  This morning after eating breakfast, me and my partner immediately went to Taoyuan County Stadium in time for our 9:35am doubles match. It was an intense match, but at the end we lost...... we gained experience though.... :)

       Entering the courts after our names were announced. Order: Umpire, partner,me,opponets,referee, and 6 line judges.

After this match we had lunch, and it was superrrr delicious.

At 4:00pm this afternoon, I had my Singles match.

Haha my face..

Oh and as a follow up, I saw that same Ferrari today! out front at the stadium!

This car..... man... it was getting soo many attention since it was parked right out front. (Other team members walking in the stadium).

The owner of the car came out right after I took the first picture.. I just wanna steal his car!

Okay.... so that was basically how my day went. About to go out to eat now... until next time :)

Junior World Championship-day one and day two

    Sorry for the lack of posts these days!! I've been super busy with flying here and there...

anywho, I'll do this quick post on whats been going on.

On 10/30/11, after being on the plane for more than 14 hours, I had successfully landed at the Hong Kong international airport (which is the best of the best in this world- i tell you) the place was huge!!!! total of 7 levels with several buildings connecting to each other.

So, an hour after we landed, we took one of those two stories air bus to Wonkok for the schedule meet up with my aunt. Whilst in Hong Kong, I had the chance to see the latest Asian street style. for girls it is mostly long shirts paired with bulky/military/heavy/men's shoes.u After finishing up doing what we needed to do in Hong Kong, we went to the airport to come to Taiwan. But before all of this, we took a very (I mean very) long walk to find our terminal at the airport. The place was just wayyyyy too big!!! (pics will be posted soon).

That same night at around 8;30, we arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan airport. (old looking airport). Took the taxi and arrived at our hotel.

Day 2- woke up around 7 this morning and went down to breakfast before going to my first practice at taoyuan county stadium. The place is huge! But, because there were many countries, each team only got an hour to an hour and a half to practice...  great to see so many countries all together in one place tho..

After training, we took the train towards Taipei 101 area. The train ride was around 40 minutes but, there were lots of sightings on the way. Taipei 101 is an huge tower!. We didn't get to see too much of it because it was raining, so we basically shopped around indoors and at the food court. (The foods were AMAZINGLY GOOD!).

At around 5, we took the train again to come back to Taoyuan, to Chuto hotel. We had this welcoming dinner event for all of the players, teams, and parents. Besides thanking the people in the BWF( Badminton World Federation), there was live entertainments, and of course food.... the food was alright..

Right when I set out from the lobby, I saw a Ferrari F430!!! man.. I was sooo estatic!, then I saw the world champion.... amazing way to end my night :)

      We are about to leave to the airport right now and I am super excited!!! It's going to be a long flight and below is what I have packed in my carry-on bag.

Mascara Review for Vietmy

       This is a mascara review for Vietmy, VT, username Bunnyshop2 and username Stylie465, and to all :)

   Mascaras are really hard to choose from. From all of the different formulas, wands, and brands out there in the market, how do we know which one is just that "right" one for us??  There is always that new product that claims to solve your every need. Whether it is asking for dramatic lashes, longer lashes, curled lashes, or voluminous lashes, none of us will just settle down to that "one" perfect mascara.

My Personal all time favourites would be Diorshow Iconic, Lancome Definicil, Lancome Oscillation Intensity, YSL Singulier and Maybelline Full & Soft.

This review is solely based on my personal opinion and experience.

                                        These are all of the mascaras that I have at the moment.

Lets start from Volumizing/dramatic result mascaras.

Almay-Intense I-color

                                        This is the first mascara that I've purchased in brown.
                                       Likes: Huge wand with lots of bristles.
                                                 Clump free!
                                       Dislike: Because of the shape of the wand, its hard to reach bottom lashes.
                                                   The formula doesn't give you that intense coloring.
                            Recommended: For people with that likes to put on many coats of mascaras. 6/10 rating

                                                     Maybelline- Pulse Perfection (waterproof)

                   Ignore the slight bend of the wand* This mascara clumps and smudges
                               Likes: It really gives you that dark inky color.
                                         The wand is one of those vibrating kind with a button to press.
                               Dislikes: It clumps and smudges. Waterproof version is super hard to take off!
      Recommended: For those that are looking for a mascara that will last through thunderstorms. Rating 5/10.

                                  Covergirl- (Orange tube) Lastblast- (Purple tube)-Lastblast Fusion

                     Lashblast is definitely one of those mascaras that are on many's favourites list.
                       Likes (Orange Tube): The wide wand with tiny bristles.
                                                 Reaching inner corners of the eye and coating the bottom lashes.
                      Dislike: It dries out fast, and I didn't get the volumizing affect.
                      Recommended: For people with long lashes. Rating 6/10.
                      Likes: (Purple Tube): Seperating the lashes.
                      Dislikes: Waterproof version is easy to take off. Does not really lengthen.
                      Recommended: For swimmers, and those that wants a natural look. Rating 7/10.
                             
                                                  Maybelline- The Colossal Volum Express

                                        This is absolutely the best drugstore volumizing mascara!
               Likes: The bulky wand with tons of brustles giving you a clean separating finish.
                                  The intense coloring after several coats.
                                  Easy to take off on the non waterproof version.
               Dislikes: The intense rosy smell.
                                     Smudges (just a tiny bit).
              Recommended:This is a great mascara for those that wants to get that dark smoky look. Rating 9/10

                                                          Another look at the wand/brustles.

                                                Conclusion to all of the Volumizing mascaras.

Lengthening/Definition Mascaras.

                                                         

                                                             Revlon- Grow Luscious

                            This is another one of those mascaras with a large wand
                            Likes: The large wand, and the tiny bristles- even coating.
                                      Great at separating, and lengthening...just a bit.
                                      Similar brush to that of Diorshow.
                            Dislike: Doesn't hold curls very well
                                        Needs several coats to really get the result.
                            Recommended: For those with long lashes. Rating 8/10.

                                   This is the best lengthening drugstore mascara that I've treid.
                      Likes: Its two sides. 1. The primer.2. Black mascara.
                               The primer really seperates the lashes, and at the same time, lengthening them.
                               Immediate effect. Very light.
                               No clumps, no flakes, and no smudges.
                     Dislike: It doesn't dry fast enough.
                 Recommended: For anyone that wants to have those long clean lashes. 10/10

                     Step one: Apply the primer and let it dry for 10 seconds before you go onto second step.

                       Step two: Apply the mascara, and by now, your lashes should be noticeably longer.

                       These two are my favorite!!  Dior- Maximizer and Iconic.

               This is Diors very first mascara primer. It separates lashes, curls them, and lengthens them.
                              Likes: It curls the lashes and extends them really well.
                                        Spiral shape wand
                                        Great clean finish.
                                        Can be used at night as a lash growth product.
                                        The quality package.
                              Dislike: The price. $28
          Recommended: For everyone. Great nourishment for lashes, and great as a primer alone. Rating 10/10.

            After using the primer, the next step would be applying the mascara. Here I have the Diorshow Iconic. It lengthens and defines each and every one of my lashes. Plus, it also has that curling effect.
                            Likes: The rubbery texture bristles.
                                      The twisting shape of the wand.
                                      The great formula.
                                      It does not come off easily.
                            Dislikes: The price $30.

  Small tip: If you have clumps or tiny flakes on the eyelashes, use a clean mascara wand to get it off. This also gives you a more natural look.
