Opinions on the death of Osama Bin Laden
After trying to find Osama bin Laden for over 20 long years (which is pretty ridiculous), the founder and leader of the al-Qaeda was shot dead by the U.S Navy SEALs on May 2, 2011. Before this, there were reports (with evidence), saying that he was residing in a cave, living outside of the capital of his country, or is already dead. But how as I always wonder, is it so hard to find this man. Isn't it easy to track down where ones located with all the latest technologies the military have? This man is truly that smart to out-run all the soldiers/Americans that are on the look out for him?. Well, in the end he was found inside a secured private residential compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan!. If this was the place that Osama has been hiding all these years, then this place must have been protected with gold/metal/rocks and stuff because even the birds-eye view couldn't even find him, not even detection or whatever they use could find him
His death was the cause that millions of Americans celebrated on the streets in New York as well as in front of the White House. But in a way, is this really something to celebrate for?
Even though the leader of the Al-Qaeda is dead, there will be a new leader, and revenge will for sure take place, it's just a matter of when and where. This frightens Americans as the nation is the target by the middle east. The government claims that our military has everything it takes to protect the lives of it's citizens, but this is the only reason it can get tax payers money to support these on going wars.
There are numerous reports out there stating with evidence, that Bin Laden was already dead back in 2002 due to his bad health. If this is true, then was Bin Laden really killed in 2011? and was it really "his" body that was throw in the ocean? Why did they have to get rid of Bin Ladens body? Why did Osama have to die, instead of be kept in prison for a lifetime? How was the SEALs able to break into his hiding place with-out any of his guards fighting back? These are the many questions that is unclear to many of us, and might be some of the questions that can never be answered.
